The season 4 contestants of Top Chef are Hugh Acheson, Angelo Sosa, Carla Hall, Paul Qui. The season premiere is on January 5th and the finale will be aired on March 29th.

This season features a new twist called “Quickfire Challenge,” in which chefs must create dishes using ingredients that they have never seen before, presented by host Padma Lakshmi. There will also be fewer episodes this season with 13 total instead of 16.

Quickfire Challenge isn’t new but they’re using ingredients from around the world instead of just the US. The season will have a total of 13 episodes instead of 16, which might be for the better because there’s less time to bore audiences with dishes that are too similar or inconsistent in quality.

Judges: Tom Colicchio (head judge), Gail Simmons, Hugh Acheson and Angelo Sosa.

Contestants: Kevin Sbraga, Jennifer Carroll, Jehangir Mehta, Sara Petersen.

Judges and contestants both have been previously featured on the show.

All the judges have been previously featured on the show and most of them are chefs from all around America with differing backgrounds in cooking styles and experiences.

Kevin Sbraga is a chef who has won season three of Top Chef’s “All-Stars” against four other previous winners of the show season.

Jennifer Carroll is a chef who has been on four seasons and previously won the “All-Stars” season against three other previous winners.

Jehangir Mehta, although he was not seen in any episodes this season (possibly because he lost) is an Indian American restaurateur and former lawyer who is very interested in food as a form of art.

Sara Petersen, who was eliminated on the season’s sixth episode by Frank Bruni (he said that she “didn’t have her head in the game” and gave up), is an experienced chef with experience running high-end restaurants before coming to a top chef.

The season four winner, Marcus Samuelsson, is a Swedish chef who won season three of “Top Chef: All-Stars” and was born in Ethiopia.

In the fourth season of Top Chef, twelve chefs competed for one spot at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) as well as the title of Top Chef.
