The Editors

Priya Nair

Priya is AreYouFashion's Wardrobe Columnist, and her specialism is building a wardrobe slowly and well. She writes on capsule thinking, cost-per-wear and the art of choosing a small number of pieces you genuinely love and will wear for years. Her expertise is in fit and value: how a garment is cut, how it is made, and whether it earns its place three different ways before it is worth buying. She favours longevity over novelty and dressing for your real life over an imaginary one, and she is candid about when an expensive piece is worth it and when a cheaper one does the same job better. Areas of focus: capsule wardrobes, cost-per-wear, fit and tailoring, and buying well. If a piece cannot justify itself, she will say so plainly.
