Her expertise is in fit and value: how a garment is cut, how it is made, and whether it earns its place three different ways before it is worth buying. She favours longevity over novelty and dressing for your real life over an imaginary one, and she is candid about when an expensive piece is worth it and when a cheaper one does the same job better.
